264 win mag

Does anyone have any dealings with the 264 win mag. Very interested in buying a Ruger in that caliber, but would like to hear from someone that has some experience with it

loss my .243,jamed up .sent in to gunsmith .was going to buy a savage 243 at bi-mart for $329 ,but walmart had a rem 770 for 297 so i bought the rem.the last savage (cheap) 111 had a very bad magazine hook up . the rem is much better .
accuracy is on par with my sniper rifle.one hole at 100 yds.bi-mart sells then for 30 bucks cheaper though.

My Grandpa gave me a 1968 Remington model 760 Gamemaster, Pump 30-06. I put a Tasco 4-16X40 AO scope on it a few yrs. ago and with 150gr. shells. I shoot 1" groups at 100-200 yrds. It is my favorite rifle. This short pump gun lets you know when it is barking fire. Kicks a bit and is loud. Love it.

Steve, if you like odd rifles I know where one is that is a 1 of 50. It is a remington, I forgot the model. Anyways, it is a .257 roberts improved. 200 of this gun was manufactured in the .257 roberts but only 50 were sent back to the factory and re-chambered for improved. It has the factory spade stamp to show it was done at the factory. the guy has brass, loaded rounds and a set of rcbs dies. the gun currently has a cheap nikon prostaff fixed 4 power on it that was bought new last year. gun is in excellent shape and really ahsnt been fired much. I thinkt his is the international grade gun also. if interested i can get you more info :) ... Its in arkansas.

James i don't know much about the new 710's...I bought up several of the 700 BDL custom rifles in 25.06, 270....both are very accurate...I also just bought a Sako deluxe custom in 270 with a 24 inch barrell...came out of the Sako custom Shop...it groups sub MOA at 100 yds....got an older Leupold Var-X III scope in 3 x 9 x 50 mm on it...collects a lot of light for early and late...I have a farm in NC with 100 yard food plots and the shots are chip shots...
