Yeah we call it noodling. Some people call it rock fishing. Actually caught him in a sunken boat that is facing hull up in the local river. Just the surface of the hull is sticking out from the bottom of the river and we cut a hole in it for the catfish and have pulled nice cats out of it year after year.
