yea i hear ya, we have tons of yotes.. they will be scarce one year and noone will bother them, then the next yr they are EVERYWHERE. this year i hear them verynight. i was on my way home from work last night and seen a big ol bear. right across the road from where i work. it makes me nervous. they arent scared of ppl in the town i work, cuz they are always near them. same with the deer. you can walk outside and feed them from your hand...

we dont do mangament up here, well, we kinda do. doe management. tahts what the doe permits are for. we dont get many big bucks. they are out there but its not hear of thatppl get many. so ost people you see are gettin nice 6 points. a i know ALOT of people that will shoot a sipke cuz they think it wont grow anymore.. but how do they know? they never give them a chance to grow. i hate that... we hav a nice one out back of my moms, we found a shed antler form him last summer, it was a big 7 on one side.. so i can imagine him this year.. wish i woudl atleast see him! they planted corn out back of my house this eyar for the first time since 2000 so should be better hutning out there.

wow thats crazy!! i wanna hunt there!! ahahha. actually, we dont see too awful many bucks around here, we do have a few nice nice ones, but you really gotta hunt hard to find em. you gotta be strategic.does, i see all the time, you can take all however many doe tags you have, in one day if u want to. does are bigger in the southern tier in NY then they ar ein the northern. my mom lives down there so i hunt around there quite a bit. my whole family eats venison so i dont mind so much about shooting a doe. i live wit my brother and he is a bnig time hunter too

no kidding, we can take does all throughout our season, but you ahve to have DMP's [doe management permits] im sure you know what they are? last year i ended up gettin 5, you apply for two and they are free but if they all dont get handed out, ppl that already got them can get more. they are given out to special areas or w.e. then you get 2 bucks tags, one for bow/muzzleloading, and one for rifle. you can also use a doe tag on a spike less then 2 inches. im sure u know all that tho

" if its brown, its down" hahaha thats our slogan up here, dunno about yours. =] yea, i went partyin last night, had to be up and outta my sisters by 8 to drop some stuff off to my buddy, on the way up i seen two does, a fawn, and a nice ol 6 point in a field. they stood there for twenty mins lettin me take pics. it opens november 13th for early muzzleloadin and november 20th for rifle/shotgun. not sure when bow is, not into that yet. we go til the first weekend in december, then we have another week for late muzzleloading.

thanks for leaving the site on grimreaper broadheads I believe the expandales is what my pops shoots in his crossbow I kinda like the look of the fixed blades I may look at a pack next time I go to the archery shop. Have you heard anything on Crimson Talon broadheads ? Like I said I have a set of them and have never even shot them. I just haven't heard anyone say anything good or bad about them I just haven't used them and gambled on them and taken a chance on losing an animal.
